Mucky Pups  is a warm, friendly, exciting and interesting place to play, work and learn. We believe that relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our team are a dedicated and enthusiastic bunch who love working with children and are passionate about doing the very best for the families we have with us. Each family is allocated a key-worker and a buddy for you to get to know and work alongside while your child is with us. We are committed to improving outcomes for all children by working in partnership with all parents and carers.

Before becoming manager at Mucky Pups I was a primary school teacher for over 24 years and of all the many roles that I had during this time, working and leading the Early Years Team was the most rewarding and enjoyable of all of them. Having three children of my own I know how special the bonds children make with each other and their adults and how important they are in shaping their future.
I consider it a privilege that parents choose us to be part of their child's journey and love leading a special team of staff who are responsible for creating the family atmosphere we treasure here.

 I have been working with children for over 15 years and have a wide variety of knowledge and experience of child development and the EYFS.
I love to teach children new things, even something as simple as putting on their own coat and then watching them move onto the next step.
​​Everyday here at Mucky Pups is different and it is a pleasure to work in such a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere.

I knew I have a love for working with children from working at an after school club but starting as a kickstart employee here made me realise that this is the career I wanted to pursue.
Since starting as an apprentice I have enjoyed getting to know all the children at Mucky Pups and watching them learn new things everyday.
 
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, reading and painting

​Helping as a volunteer during Covid allowed me to realise that this was the career for me.
Since starting as an apprentice I have loved forming bonds with all the children and seeing them learn and develop in my short time so far as been very rewarding.
In my time away from nursery I enjoy being active, playing rugby and cricket for local teams.

I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time with my family.
My other role is as "Little Group Leader" in the After school & Holiday  Club which means I get to create a really close link with all the families and watch the children grow when they move onto big school!

​I have worked in the company for many years and I am now mainly based with the Moorside After School Club and here at during the holidays with the younger children at Holiday Club. I am often in nursery helping out if other staff are off on holiday.
I love being outside and showing the children all about nature and loving the outdoors.
