Hello Time

Songs/Stories/Show & Tell
When we're all settled we go into our groups with our keyworkers and say hello to all our friends
We all sing our Hello song
Hello Everyone!
How are you?
Hello Everyone!
Who's sitting nest to you?
We then take it in turns to sing/say our names and introduce each other.
We also have conversation activities including: singing, the weather, stories and individual experiences and news.

Breakfast Time/ Snack Time

We provide a choice of healthy breakfast foods fresh fruits and milk or water to drink!
We chat about what we have been doing, about healthy choices and what we like to eat!.

We provide a healthy snack of vegetables, dips and either sandwiches, crackers, or breads and milk and water to drink.

Play/Learning/Development & Discovery
Children have access to a vast range of resources and activities, all designed to support their development. Children can play with friends, or alone, with support of key worker and other nursery practitioners. Outdoor play is accessible throughout the session.
Available activities include: painting, music, singing, story sessions, puppet play, messy play, Play-Doh, pasta and water play, dressing up and role play, use of bikes, scooters  and building blocks. Treasure baskets, boxes and musical instruments. Sport sessions - running, jumping, parachute play, balls, hoops, bean bags etc. Other resources are made available according to age and the child's stage of development.

Lunch times
11.30-1.00pm

At lunch time the children choose who to come to lunch with and where they'd like to sit. Itr is a relaxing, fun and socail time.
Everyone loves to talk about what they've brought for lunch and to talk about our choices and foods we eat at home.

Each Child's Development
Each child's key worker plans activities to support their individual development. The worker also makes daily observations of play and progress, using these to plan the next activities for the child's learning. All of this is fed back and discussed with parents and carers on a daily basis.  Parents can also access up to date data on their child via our secure online app.

Home Time
Story and song time
12.45pm- 5.45pm

We say goodbye to the children and parents. Parents have a chance to speak with their childs key worker, who'll discuss the day’s activities with them and make plans for the next time their child is in Mucky Pups.
