We believe it is so important that all children grow up to enjoy a healthy diet and enjoy food of all different kinds.
At Mucky Pups it is a very social occasion when we all sit down with each other and our grown ups to enjoy a meal and sit together.
The children are encouraged to help prepare for this by; setting the table, washing their hands and pouring their own drinks, we also encourage them to use their own knife, fork or spoon where appropriate to achieve a real sense of independence.
Afterwards they are expected (with support of course) to clear their plates and rubbish away.

Daily snack
We offer a morning and afternoon snack as part of the daily routine, at no extra charge.
Each week the menu rotates and we offer seasonal fruit and vegetables as part of each snack.
We encourage the children to have a try.
For special occasions and celebrations we include food as part of our learning and then the menu will change accordingly.

Healthy Body, Happy Me!
We have a Special Day to specifically teach children at Mucky Pups how to keep their bodies healthy through making healthy food choices and how to keep themselves hydrated.
